During November 2023 Dr. Ben Huntington, GBADs programme manager and Dr Anna Szyniszewska, CABI Technical Lead presented at the One Food community Forum.
The speakers emphasise the positive contributions of crops and livestock to sustainable development goals but highlight the negative impacts in the presence of hazards such as diseases, pests, and climate variability. The framework involves assessing attainable yields, estimating crop loss and animal health loss envelopes, and translating them into economic terms. You can watch the full presentation here.
