The annual Pint of Science festival started on Monday 13th May 2024. The GBADs team gave a presentation at the event “What Lurks Outside – the Good, the Bad, and… the Creative?” to a sold out venue!
Helen Clough and Girma Asteraye presented GBADs to the public “G(r)appling with the unknown: what are the costs of animal disease?” with real life examples from Ethiopia from Girmas PhD project. With questions following from the joint presentation, it was a well recieved reception by both. Well done Helen and Girma!
