Friday 6th September saw the first of three regional webinar launches starting with EU and the African region. This was the first launch of the recently published GBADs Technical Guide, detailing the methods we use to understand the economic burden of diseases in livestock and aquatic species. The launch began by Prof. Jonathan Rushton introducing GBADs as a programme as well the recently published Technical Guide and the success we are hoping it will have. The launch continued into a session on the impact GBADs and the methods in the Guide used within Ethiopia. Dr. Wudu Temesgen and Girma Asteraye presented the work to the audience. The final part of the launch allowed a panelist Q+A session which opened up useful responses from the Panelists.
