🌍 Over four days at hashtag#WOHC2024 in Cape Town, we learned more about the latest scientific and policy advancements in the #OneHealth space and had insightful discussions with experts from the #animalhealth and #OneHealth sectors.
🌟Thank you to everyone who attended Saturday’s Science-Policy Interface session on burden estimates and participated in our interactive audience exercise. It was great to see a full room and enthusiastic engagement around the burden of diseases and the role and challenges of data-driven policy in #OneHealth (Sara B Martins, Carlotta di Bari, Jonathan Rushton, Delia Grace, Chinenye (Ofoegbunam) Emelife & Andrew Clement).
We look forward to WOHC2026 and to continuing to explore how socio-economics can make a meaningful impact on advancing One Health.
