Members of GBADs attended the SVEPM 2026 conference in London, 25th – 27th March 2026. 

On Thursday 26th March, João Sucena Afonso presented “Burden of Antimicrobial Resistance in Post-Weaning Diarrhoea – a Case Study in the Danish Pig Sector Applying the GBADs Framework” using findings from the different GBADs case studies. 

There were lots of discussions and questions regarding João’s presentation, with one participant noting how João had presented the paper so clearly people could understand the work easily and feel more encouraged to ask questions.
